The BENTON PHA Peeling Gel enables a thorough, 2-step peeling, a physical peeling using naturally derived cellulose and a chemical peeling with PHA, a third-generation peeling ingredient. The peeling gel is very gentle, hydrates the skin thanks to hyaluronic acid and thus makes it smoother.
PHA is the 3rd generation of acids that compensates for the weaknesses of AHA. PHA not only removes dead skin cells but also moisturizes as it creates a protective barrier that prevents moisture loss. PHA has similar functions to AHA and BHA. As a result, dead skin cells are removed while at the same time PHA helps with skin problems such as excess sebum, whiteheads and blackheads. PHA is a famous exfoliating ingredient that is often used in cosmetics for a moisturizing peeling effect.
